Thank you for visiting my page. A little about my approach: I work with clients to build a meaningful therapeutic bond. While I consider my work attachment-based, I engage with an integrative approach tailored to each client and relationship, and consider therapy to be an evolving and co-created process.

I completed my graduate studies in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. My clinical training began at Children’s Institute and Sandy Segal Youth Health Center, where I worked with children and teens aged 3-18 and their families. I then worked with pre-teens, teens and adults at Southern California Counseling Center, both in schools and in clinic. I also served as a group facilitator for folks with early-stage Alzheimers, working with seniors and their families at Opica. My history with clients in all life stages allows me to integrate a developmental lens in my work. We are very much impacted by our stage of life and by the systems around us, and our needs respond accordingly.

Prior to clinical work I spent two years in crisis intervention and human rights work, both local and abroad, with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I also have research experience in both trans-generational trauma and the historical experiences of marginalized populations, as well as in addiction studies at UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs.

I work to create a safe space with clients to unpack and rewrite their story. It is an integral part of my work to work in partnership with clients to acknowledge inherited and internalized messaging around themes of power, gender, race, ableism, colorism, and many other systemic forces that shape our perspectives on community and the self.
